The McLean steakhouse cooks over a mesquite wood fire, and its $55 Restaurant Week dinner opens with Maryland crab bisque or a little gem caesar before short rib gnocchi, jumbo lump crab cakes or miso glazed salmon, with seared scallops, a center-cut filet or a 14 oz ribeye available at the higher course prices. Each entree lists its own suggested wine by the glass or bottle. A $35 lunch runs the same three-course shape Monday through Saturday.
