The Dabney
Blagden Alley's wood-hearth kitchen and Washingtonian's No. 15 this year. The August menu is up, with peach and sungold gazpacho to start and the Roseda Farms bavette steak Diane to follow. The kitchen runs its Restaurant Week menu August 25 to 29 only.

The Dabney, located in historic Blagden Alley, sources its ingredients from the Mid-Atlantic’s finest farms, watermen, and purveyors. The centerpiece of the open kitchen is a wood-burning hearth that allows them showcase the region’s versatility while staying true to its classic cooking methods. In the dining room, guests will find bare tables and exposed historic brick walls, service that’s refined but relaxed, and a dining experience that’s unpretentious, delicious, and fun.
